How to Request Data Deletion

As an employee using the EQUPOINT PROPERTIES WhatsApp Device Status Bot, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data collected through this service. This page explains how to submit your request.

Note: The Device Status Bot is for internal employee use only. This data deletion process applies to current and former employees who have used the WhatsApp Bot service.

Data Deletion Options

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to our data privacy team with the following information:

  • Subject line: "WhatsApp Bot Data Deletion Request"
  • Your full name
  • Your employee ID (if current employee)
  • The phone number you used with the WhatsApp Bot
  • Approximate date range of your usage of the Bot

Option 2: Internal Request Form

Current employees can also submit a request through our internal employee portal:

  1. Log in to the employee portal
  2. Navigate to "IT Services" → "Data & Privacy"
  3. Select "Request Data Deletion"
  4. Choose "WhatsApp Bot" from the services list
  5. Complete the form and submit

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon your request, we will delete the following data associated with your use of the WhatsApp Bot:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number
  • Message history and content
  • Device status request records
  • Usage patterns and timestamps
  • Any personal identifiers linking you to the service

Please note that we may retain certain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you, as well as information necessary for legal compliance, audit purposes, or to protect our legitimate business interests.

Timeline for Data Deletion

We will process your deletion request within 10 days of receipt. You will receive confirmation when your data has been deleted.

If you have not received confirmation within 10 days, please contact our IT department directly at extension 1234 or email policy@equpointproperty.com.
